Dr. Liz grew up in the Wisconsin countryside and has taken the scenic route to veterinary medicine, with stops at Northwestern, Arizona State, and the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she earned her DVM in 2001. She’s board-certified in canine and feline practice (since 2009) and is fluent in Spanish. Her professional interests include feline medicine, diagnostic ultrasound, surgery, and urgent care. When she’s not at the hospital, you might find her on a night hike searching for owls, playing ice hockey, or singing in choir.
